Constantly, we are faced with many life challenges and in the process we may forget to build our relationships. This especially occurs in the family setting where parents work extra hours to provide for their family. In the process parents end up losing touch with their children. Here are the things to do to amend the situation.
Step one: Acknowledging that there are areas in our lives that need to be addressed. The worst thing one can do is to live in denial. Am one person that believe that everything happens for a reason, good or bad. So if you have messed up, face up your mess head on, admit your areas of wrong or weakness. A problem will not just varnish because you are wishing it away or you have buried your head in the sand. The best favour you can ever do to is to be truthful to yourself. One can always lie to everyone but never to himself.
Step two: Take a pen and paper and analyze the magnitude of your mess. By doing this, you will be in a position to visualize the reality of the whole process and know how to act in order to achieve personal development and growth.
Step three: Get a strategy. Do not fix your problems the way you saw someone else doing it. We are all unique from each other and what worked for a certain person does not necessarily mean that it will work for you. Do things your own way, be yourself and do things the right.
If you observe the issues that have been mentioned above then your life will be less stressful thus personal growth and development.
