Cut down on your spending by sticking to the basic needs which are food, shelter, clothes, education and health care. Do not get into debts for things that you do not really need. Know the difference between what you want and what you need. Be grateful and content with what you have.
My mum once told me when I was a little girl that the greatest of all possessions one could ever have is to being content with what they have. When I say content I do not mean that we should be contained in the situations that we are in, constantly strive to improve your personal finances.
Be willing to do whatever it takes to provide for yourself or your family. Personally, I do not think it is wise to sit around doing nothing waiting until you get the million dollar dream job you have always wanted. Seize the job or business opportunities that are available at the meantime. Work hard and be humble, a little anything is better than nothing.
Cultivate your love for others. We were created for one another, to help one another, care for each other and be there for one another. We should not forget the value of true friendship and the love of family. If we have good health and each other, we can win every struggle when we are a unit.
Seek God and trust in Him. Have faith in the supernatural power of who created you because He made you with a reason and for a purpose. If we do what is right and work hard, God will do His part and you will achieve self development and happiness.
